Taking cues from both 21st-century modern and Japanese aesthetics, we wanted to enhance the architect’s dynamic design with a less-is-more mindset. Referencing a wabi-sabi ideal, we chose organic materials that transform gracefully, including wood paneling, textured plaster walls, and a bronze window system. These intentional subtleties create an inviting sanctuary that will only become more beautiful over time.
