When we were planning to build our house, I tore out pages from a design magazine of pictures I loved. Turns out, most of those rooms were Anita’s creations! Anita has such an eye for real life. Our home is comfortable, natural, and warm with a purpose and pops of color. Anita incorporated serene Japanese touches with a modern style, in honor of my husband who is of Japanese descent. Like the breathtaking bedroom wall of dark brown leather and wood with hand-painted plum tree design panels that was inspired by the headboard at our favorite luxury hotel in Kyoto. She created a gorgeous library because I love to read, complete with a moving ladder, comfy reading chairs, and a colorful geometric rug that features an extensive collection of my daughter’s and my childhood books. Anita has a great team working with her and is very hands-on, making sure everything is just right. I wanted a home that, when people came to visit, they would be surprised and delighted by the whimsical touches. Anita delivered that and so much more.
